The Maxx Hi-Performance Tree Saw is engineered to cut through a wide range of hardwoods and softwoods, including cedar, hedge, mesquite, and locust. It is purpose-built for extreme-duty vegetation management and land clearing where other attachments fall short.

Maxx Tree Saws are available in two flow configurations: Medium Flow models operate at 26–33 GPM, and High Flow models operate at 33–41 GPM. Selecting the correct model depends on your skid steer's hydraulic output rating. Contact Maxx Attachments to confirm compatibility.

The fixed boom mounts rigidly to the skid steer for straightforward cutting tasks. The swing boom model adds lateral articulation, minimizing ground disturbance and allowing precise cutting along fence lines or uneven terrain. It also includes a priority flow control valve for smoother hydraulic performance.

Yes. An optional 5-gallon chemical sprayer system (Model DY112548) is available for attachment to the tree saw. It includes a spray nozzle for treating stumps and cut vegetation immediately after clearing, helping suppress regrowth of invasive plants like cedar and mesquite.

Weights vary by model: the 6700D1 Fixed Boom Medium Flow weighs 1,350 lbs, the 6777D1 Swing Boom Medium Flow is 1,540 lbs, the 7443D1 Fixed Boom High Flow is 1,370 lbs, and the 7534D1 Swing Boom High Flow is 1,560 lbs. The optional sprayer adds 80 lbs.
