Tree shears with chemical sprayer attachments combine solid cast steel shearing arms with an optional sprayer kit to cut trees at ground level and simultaneously treat stumps, preventing regrowth. Built for skid steers, these heavy-duty tools handle hardwood and softwood species up to 16 inches in diameter for ranching, forestry, and land clearing operations.

Skid steer tree shears like the Ranch Axe can shear trees up to 14 or 16 inches in diameter depending on the model, using cast steel or fabricated A572 steel arms rated to 4,000 psi. Capacity depends on the skid steer's hydraulic flow, minimum operating weight of 1,850 lbs, and the specific attachment model chosen.
